Metro Manila · Fete de la Musique 2014 (June 21)
The Fete de la Musique is celebrating its 20th anniversary in the Philippines this year - and it is going to be a big party, with dozens of bands on several stages in Makati, Manila, and Cebu City.
The Fete de la Musiqe is a music festival celebrated simultaneously in more than 100 countries around the world. It was created by a former French Minister of Culture. In the Philippines it is organized by the Alliance Francaise and the French Embassy together with local partners.
Over 200 local acts and two French artists (M.MAT and DJ Jon Attend) will play on three main and 19 pocket stages indoors and outdoors.
The Fete in Manila surely offers something for everybody, whatever your taste in music might be. Apart from the main stages (see below), there will be:
- an Electronica Stage,
- an Independent Stage in Century City Mall,
- a Hip Hop Stage at M Cafe,
- a Reggae & Ska Stage,
- a Rock Stage, both at B-Side,
- a Bass Beats Breaks Stage dedicated to underground dance music,
- a Luna Festival with World Music at Le Café Curieux,
- and more.
