You want awesome live music experience in a place far away from the crowded and busy districts of the Megacity? Get on a cab and go to Quezon City.

The bars iin Quezon City gather people from all backgrounds: students, artists, the alternative music scene as well as Megacitizens! To be honest, the latter are still low in numbers but that does not mean it has to stay that way.

No matter if you go to the Conspiracy or the 70’s Bistro, a great live music performance is almost guaranteed! Matched with local drinks and some pica-pica (small pieces of food that you eat on the side), the nightlife can begin!

The streets below are some nightlife hotspots in Quezon City:

Maginhawa-Malingap Restaurant Strip

Located in Teachers Village near the University of the Philippines, the Maginhawa-Malingap restaurant strip is dubbed as the newest and most happening place in Quezon City. At night, you'd see people walking this long street from end to end in search of live music and good food. While there are only a few bars in the area, foodies will definitely enjoy being in this side of Quezon City. Restaurants range from the likes of fine dining places like Provenciano where delectable Filipino food is served to Al Farsi where you can get a fill of pita and hummus.

Tomas Morato Avenue

Tomas Morato is home to a few of the oldest restaurants in this side of the metro. This includes Alba Restaurante Español, a Spanish kitchen that opened its doors to food lovers in 1952. Patrons of the place come from all sorts of backgrounds but the most noteworthy of guests includes the old King and Queen of Spain.

Today, Tomas Morato is among the busiest nightlife hotspots in Quezon City thanks to the many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and milk tea shops that dot both sides of the avenue. The place is still very much alive until the wee hours so if you would like to drink the whole night while you’re in Quezon City, this is the place to go to. More here.

Eastwood, Libis

Eastwood City is also a nice place to go to if you would like to drink and party all night. Eastwood City is a commercial and residential space and is home to a number of restaurants and bars. More here.

'70s Bistro in Anonas is one of the hippest places in Quezon City. The entrance fee is around 100 to 200 pesos and the dishes served in the Anonas hangout place range from less than 60 to around 300 Pesos.
