Metro Manila · 28th Negros Trade Fair
Visitors of the 28th Negros Trade Fair were presented with a wide variety of (all-natural) goods and products from the Visayan island - also attracting prominent guests.
Senate President Franklin Drilon, Makati Mayor Junjun Binay, and Ayala Corp.'s CEO Jaime Augusto Zobel, among other big names, came to check what the island province of Negros has to offer. The choice of products was impressive. On display were accessories and handicrafts, paintings and lamps, garments and baked goodies. The trade fair also features many natural and organic goods, as Negros claims to be the “organic food bowl of Asia”. The range of all-natural products includes coffees and teas, herbs, rice, and more.
The 28th Negros Trade Fair took place from September 25 to 29, 2013, in the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City. Each day there were special performances on stage, like cooking demonstrations, fashion shows, and floral arrangements.
Established in 1985, the Negros Trade Fair is the longest running provincial trade fair in Manila.
