Metro Manila · Museo Pambata (Children's Museum)
Museo Pambata, the Children’s Museum on Roxas Boulevard believes in making learning fun. Known for its hands-on exhibits, this museum has a lot of things to offer to children ages 10 and below.
There are a lot of things kids can do at the Museo Pambata. Learning about Old Manila and experiencing what it was like to live in that time is one of the popular activities at the Museo Pambata. Kids these days are often busy with their gadgets, not knowing how life was like back in the old days. With Museo Pambata’s Old Manila treat, your kids can experience turn-of-the-century Manila by riding a tranvia and wearing what their great grandparents wore. The Old Manila experience also makes it possible for kids to go aboard a small Spanish galleon and go inside a miniature stone house and cathedral.
Kids can also practice their entrepreneurial skills through the row of play stores such as pretend vegetable and fruit stalls inside the museum. Budgeting skills can also be introduced during this part of playtime. Museo Pambata features a hall dedicated to children’s rights. It also houses a Global Village section where kids can learn more about children from other parts of the world.
