Metro Manila · Cinemalaya 2014 (August 1-10)
Cinemalaya is the big independent film festival of the Philippines. 25 films will be on display from August 1 to 10, 2014. Venues are the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and the Ayala cinemas of Greenbelt 3, TriNoMa, Alabang Town Center, and Fairview Terraces.
The festival provides seed investments to boost the creative careers of the best independent filmmakers in the Philippines. The films, selected out of hundreds of submissions from all over the Philippines, run in three categories. The Directors' Showcase features movies by directors who have already done commercially released films. The New Breed Category is for young talented filmmakers. Short films will be shown under the Short Feature Category.

Tickets for films at the CCP: 150 pesos each.
Tickets for films at the Ayala Cinemas: 160 pesos each.
All-Access Festival Pass (including priority line and all activites): 3,500 pesos.
Films In Competition Pass: 2,500 pesos.
Day Pass: 500 pesos.
