Metro Manila · German Club Manila
Established in January of 1906, the German Club Manila traces its roots from Casino Union, a loose association of German-speaking expats formed some time in 1880. It is one of the oldest clubs formed by foreigners in the Philippines.
The German Club gathers mainly German Megacitizens for lunch, dinner and drinks. They offer traditional German food and beverages. Contact them via (+63) 2 817 3552 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The Club is also the venue for the monthly Economic Forum, organized by the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the German Club and the German Embassy. In order to be able to enter the Club you have to be a member or be accompanied by a member. You can find the German Club at the Penthouse, Eurovilla Bldg. II, 118 V. A Rufino Street in the Legazpi Village HotSpot.
The Philippines' biggest beer fest is back! As every year, thousands of people will be served with savory German cuisine, free flowing beer, and Bavarian live music during the two-day Oktoberfest at the Sofitel Manila.
Last Sunday, German expats and other Megacitizens from all over Metro Manila met in Legaspi Village to watch the country's general election, the Bundestagswahl, on TV. The German Club Manila had invited members as well as non-members to the 'Election Night'.
The traditional beer fest promotes camaraderie among the Filipinos and Germans. Come and enjoy Bavarian specialties, free floating beer, and upbeat folk music with thousands of guests.
You know you are attending a great party when people are dancing on benches and tables. The Megacitizens team joined the 75th Oktoberfest of the German Club Manila in Sofitel Philippine Plaza.
