Initiated in 1902 and incorporated in 1920, AmCham Philippines is the oldest American Chamber abroad. It has 23 standing committees and two foundations that cover all aspects of business and industry to promote American-Philippine relations.

Among AmChams regular events are the numerous committee meetings, the monthly membership luncheon meetings (open to non-members as well), the informal Friday coffee club at the Elks Club, and special meetings for young professionals, professional women, and security practitioners.

The American Chamber Foundation is dedicated to charity and fundraising activities such as fun runs and golf tournaments. The biggest yearly event is the Charity Thanksgiving Ball.
